Bread, Banana and Butter
1. General
Bread, Banana and Butter (“Bread, Banana and Butter”, “we”, “us”) operates a digital platform and website (the “Platform”) through which consumers can request and book local household services such as cleaning and, where available, pet care services (the “Service”) from independent service providers (“Service Providers”).
Bread, Banana and Butter does not itself provide any Services and does not employ Service Providers. All Services offered through the Platform are performed by independent Service Providers who have chosen to make their services available via the Platform.
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply between you as a consumer (“Customer” or “you”) and Bread, Banana and Butter when you request or book a Service through the Platform.
When a booking is made through the Platform, it is always stated that the Service is provided by an independent Service Provider. The agreement for the performance of the Service is entered into directly between you and the selected Service Provider.
These Terms, together with any booking confirmation and applicable policies referenced herein, constitute the complete agreement between you and Bread, Banana and Butter regarding use of the Platform in connection with the booking of Services.
By using the Platform and booking a Service, you accept these Terms.
2. Your booking of a Service
All Services booked through the Platform are provided by independent Service Providers and not by Bread, Banana and Butter.
After a Service request has been accepted by a Service Provider, you will receive a booking confirmation containing the relevant details of the Service, including date, time, scope, and price.
To book a Service, you must have the legal capacity to enter into agreements and be responsible for any obligations arising from your booking. You are responsible for ensuring that all information you provide through the Platform is accurate and complete.
Bread, Banana and Butter reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings in individual cases if incorrect or misleading information has been provided or if misuse of the Platform is suspected.
3. Performance of the Service
The Service is performed by the Service Provider selected at the time of booking.
All questions, instructions, or clarifications regarding the performance of the Service should be directed to the Service Provider using the contact details provided in the booking confirmation.
If the Service is booked for another person, that person must be informed of and comply with the booking details.
4. Prices, payment, and RUT deduction
Prices displayed on the Platform reflect the total labor value of the Service as determined by the Service Provider.
Payment for the Service is made directly between the Customer and the Service Provider after the Service has been completed, unless otherwise agreed between them. Bread, Banana and Butter does not collect or process payments on behalf of Service Providers.
For eligible household services, a tax deduction such as RUT may apply. Any handling, application, or reporting of tax deductions is the sole responsibility of the Service Provider and, where applicable, the Customer.
Bread, Banana and Butter does not provide tax advice and is not responsible for the correct application of any tax deductions.
5. Cancellation and no-show
Cancellations or changes to a booked Service must be made through the Platform or in accordance with the instructions provided in the booking confirmation.
Cancellation deadlines and any applicable cancellation fees are determined by the Service Provider and communicated at the time of booking.
If you fail to appear at the agreed time for the Service or cancel too late, the Service Provider may be entitled to charge a no-show or late cancellation fee.
6. Right of withdrawal
Certain Services booked through the Platform may not be subject to a statutory right of withdrawal, particularly where the Service is to be performed at a specific date or time.
Where a right of withdrawal applies under applicable consumer law, you may exercise this right in accordance with the relevant legal provisions. If the Service has already begun or been completed with your consent, the right of withdrawal may no longer apply.
Regardless of the right of withdrawal, cancellation is always subject to the applicable cancellation terms.
7. If the Service Provider cancels
If a Service Provider cancels a booked Service before it has been performed, you will be notified as soon as possible.
Bread, Banana and Butter is not liable for any costs, losses, or inconvenience arising from such cancellation. The Service Provider may contact you to reschedule the Service if mutually agreed.
8. Complaints and issues
If you are dissatisfied with the Service or the use of the Platform, you may contact Bread, Banana and Butter for assistance.
Bread, Banana and Butter may, at its discretion, facilitate communication between you and the Service Provider in order to help resolve the issue. However, responsibility for the Service rests with the Service Provider.
Bread, Banana and Butter makes no warranties regarding the quality or outcome of Services booked through the Platform.
9. Availability of the Platform
Access to the Platform is provided on an “as available” basis. Bread, Banana and Butter does not guarantee uninterrupted access and reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Platform without prior notice.
10. Suspension and termination
Bread, Banana and Butter reserves the right to restrict or terminate access to the Platform if these Terms are materially or repeatedly violated, or if misuse of the Platform is identified.
11. Intellectual property
All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, and trademarks, is owned by Bread, Banana and Butter or its licensors and may not be used without prior written consent.
12. Liability
Bread, Banana and Butter is not liable for damages, losses, or costs arising from the performance of Services by Service Providers, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Under no circumstances shall Bread, Banana and Butter be liable for indirect or consequential damages.
13. Changes to these Terms
Bread, Banana and Butter reserves the right to amend these Terms. Updated Terms apply to bookings made after they come into effect.
14. Applicable law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by Swedish law.
Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms may be reviewed by the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) or resolved by a competent court in Sweden.

In order to use the Booking Service and, where applicable, register a user account, you must accept these General Terms.
2. Your booking of Service
The Services that you book via the Booking Service are provided directly by the Service Provider and not by Bread, Banana and Butter. When you use the Booking Service to request or book a Service from a Service Provider, you enter into a direct agreement with that Service Provider. Bread, Banana and Butter is not a party to that service agreement and has no responsibility for how the Service is performed.
Once your booking has been completed and accepted by a Service Provider, you will receive a booking confirmation that appears on the screen and is sent to the email address you provided (“Booking Confirmation”). The Booking Confirmation contains the essential details of your booking, such as date, time, address, scope of work and price.
Bread, Banana and Butter does not allow private individuals to offer Services through the Booking Service without being registered businesses or sole traders. All Service Providers are therefore operating as entrepreneurs under their own responsibility.
To make a booking or create a user account, you must have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements and take financial responsibility for any obligations that arise from your use of the Booking Service. If you are under 18 years of age, you may not make purchases or bookings that require credit. You are responsible for ensuring that all information you provide is true, accurate and up to date. Bread, Banana and Butter reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking in individual cases where incorrect information has been provided, misuse is suspected, or there are repeated issues linked to a user.
Bread, Banana and Butter does not accept bookings by email, telephone or other channels outside the Booking Service unless explicitly stated.
3. Things to consider
Because the Service is usually performed at your home or another agreed location, you are responsible for ensuring that the Service Provider has access to the premises at the agreed time and that any special instructions or restrictions are clearly communicated in advance.
If you have booked a Service for someone else, that person must be informed of the booking details and be present or available to allow access as agreed.
As the agreement for the Service is between you and the Service Provider, any questions about the content, scope or performance of the Service should primarily be directed to the Service Provider using the contact details in the Booking Confirmation.
4. User account
When you register a user account and/or make a booking, you will be asked to provide certain personal information. You confirm that the information you provide is correct and complete and you are responsible for any consequences of providing incorrect or misleading information.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and ensuring that no one else uses your account. You may not share your username or password with unauthorised persons and must store any related information in a safe way. If you suspect that someone else has gained access to your login details or user account, you must notify Bread, Banana and Butter without delay. Until such notification is received, you are responsible for bookings made using your login details.
5. Prices and payment
When you book a Service via the Booking Service, the price applicable is the price shown at the time of booking. Prices are stated in Swedish kronor and normally include VAT, unless otherwise indicated by the Service Provider. Service Providers are responsible for setting and updating their own prices and service information. Changes to prices or service details apply to bookings made after such changes are visible in the Booking Service.
Payment for the Service is made directly between you and the Service Provider after the Service has been completed, unless you and the Service Provider have agreed otherwise. Bread, Banana and Butter does not handle payments on behalf of Service Providers and is not a party to the payment transaction.
Where applicable, tax deductions such as RUT may reduce the amount you pay to the Service Provider. Any use or application of such deductions is handled by the Service Provider and/or you as the Customer, and lies outside Bread, Banana and Butter’s responsibility.
6. Cancellation and “no-show”
If you wish to cancel or change a booking, you should do so via the Booking Service or in accordance with the instructions provided in your Booking Confirmation. Cancellations cannot be made via email to Bread, Banana and Butter unless explicitly allowed.
Each Service Provider sets their own cancellation rules, including any deadlines and fees for late cancellation or no-show. These rules appear on the Service Provider’s page in the Booking Service and in your Booking Confirmation. You are responsible for familiarising yourself with and complying with those conditions.
If you do not appear at the agreed time and place for the Service, or if you cancel too late, the Service Provider may be entitled to charge a no-show or late cancellation fee, up to but not exceeding the agreed price of the Service.
Because Bread, Banana and Butter does not receive or hold your payment, any refunds or waivers in connection with cancellation are handled directly by the Service Provider.
7. Right of withdrawal
Most Services booked via the Booking Service are to be performed on a specific date and time at your home or other location. In such cases, the statutory right of withdrawal may be limited or not apply, in line with applicable consumer protection law for services tied to a specific time.
Where a right of withdrawal exists, you may cancel the agreement within the applicable withdrawal period by contacting the Service Provider or following the instructions given at the time of booking. If you request that the Service begins during the withdrawal period, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for the part of the Service that has already been performed at the time of withdrawal. Once the Service has been fully performed, the right of withdrawal, if any, will normally no longer apply.
Regardless of whether a statutory right of withdrawal exists, you may always cancel your booking in accordance with the applicable cancellation policy.
8. If the Service Provider cancels
If a Service Provider cancels a booked Service before it has been performed, you will be informed using the contact details you provided in the Booking Service. The Service Provider may offer to rebook the Service to a new time if both parties agree.
Bread, Banana and Butter is not responsible for any additional costs, losses or inconvenience you may incur as a result of the Service Provider’s cancellation, such as travel costs or time lost, and does not provide compensation for such consequences.
Any refunds or adjustments relating to the cancelled Service are managed directly between you and the Service Provider.
9. Additional terms and conditions
In addition to these General Terms, Service Providers may apply their own terms and conditions for Services, payment, cancellations or guarantees. Such additional terms apply between you and the Service Provider in addition to these General Terms and do not replace them.
If you use a Service Provider’s own website or any external booking tools linked from the Booking Service, those services may be subject to separate terms and conditions. You are responsible for reading and accepting any such terms before use.
10. Complaints
We want you to have a positive experience when using the Booking Service. If you are dissatisfied with the Booking Service itself, you can contact Bread, Banana and Butter using the contact details provided on our website and we will do our best to help.
Service Providers are responsible for the quality and performance of the Services they offer. Any complaints relating to how the Service was performed, the result, or any damage or loss connected to the Service should be raised directly with the Service Provider as your contractual counterpart. Bread, Banana and Butter may, at its discretion, help facilitate communication between you and the Service Provider, but is not responsible for the outcome of the Service.
11. How we sort search results
The Booking Service may display many Service Providers and Services in your area. When you perform a search, results are generally sorted based on factors such as relevance to your search, service category, availability, and geographical proximity to the address or area you have entered. Your search criteria play a central role in which Service Providers are shown first.
From time to time, the Booking Service may allow certain Service Providers to be highlighted or more prominently displayed, for example due to ratings, performance, or specific promotional arrangements. If paid placements or sponsored listings are ever used, these will be clearly marked as such in the search results.
You may also be able to use filters to adjust the order of results according to your own preferences, such as location or service type.
12. Availability of the Booking Service
Access to the Booking Service is provided until further notice. Bread, Banana and Butter reserves the right to modify, limit, suspend or discontinue the Booking Service, in whole or in part, at any time and without prior notice.
You are responsible for having the technical equipment, internet connection and software necessary to access and use the Booking Service. Bread, Banana and Butter is not responsible for any limitations caused by your own device, connection or settings.
To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for interruptions, delays or technical issues affecting the availability of the Booking Service.
13. Suspension and restrictions
Bread, Banana and Butter reserves the right to cancel bookings or restrict, suspend or terminate your access to the Booking Service or your user account, without prior notice, if there is reason to believe that you are misusing the Booking Service, providing false information, or materially or repeatedly breaching these General Terms.
We may block access to your user account until any suspected breach has been investigated or remedied.
14. Intellectual property rights
The Booking Service is owned and operated by Bread, Banana and Butter. The content of the Booking Service, including but not limited to text, logos, design, images and other material, is owned by Bread, Banana and Butter, the Service Providers or our licensors, and is protected by intellectual property and marketing laws.
You may not copy, distribute, modify, publish or otherwise use content from the Booking Service beyond what is necessary for normal use of the service, unless you have obtained prior written permission from Bread, Banana and Butter or the relevant rights holder.
You undertake not to use the Booking Service in a way that may damage, overload or impair the service, or in a way that contravenes applicable law.
15. Your termination
You may terminate your user account at any time via your account settings or by contacting us using the details provided on the website. Termination of your account does not affect any existing agreements between you and a Service Provider regarding booked Services.
16. Text and images
Texts and images describing Service Providers and Services on the Booking Service are intended to give as accurate a picture as possible of what is offered. However, some images may be illustrative only and not correspond exactly to the actual Service or provider.
Bread, Banana and Butter is not responsible for information about Services or Service Providers that has been provided by the Service Providers themselves. We reserve the right to correct obvious errors in descriptions, prices or availability at any time and to update information in the Booking Service when necessary.
17. Bread, Banana and Butter’s responsibility
Bread, Banana and Butter is responsible for operating the Booking Service but does not guarantee that the service will always be free from interruptions, errors or technical issues. We are not liable for damages or costs you may incur due to the use of or inability to use the Booking Service, unless such liability follows from mandatory law and we have acted negligently or intentionally.
Information about Service Providers and their Services is provided by the Service Providers. Bread, Banana and Butter is not responsible for the content, quality or accuracy of such information and assumes no liability for the performance, outcome or defects in Services provided by Service Providers.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bread, Banana and Butter shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of income, loss of data or similar losses arising from your use of the Booking Service or Services booked via the Booking Service.
18. Changes
Bread, Banana and Butter may update or amend these General Terms from time to time. The version of the General Terms in force at the time of your booking applies to that booking. If you do not accept updated General Terms, you should refrain from using the Booking Service.
19. Force majeure
If Bread, Banana and Butter or the Customer is prevented from fulfilling their obligations under these General Terms due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, such as war, natural disaster, fire, pandemic, interruption of public communications or energy supply, or other comparable events, the affected party shall be relieved from liability for as long as the hindrance persists, to the extent permitted by law.
20. Invalidity
If any provision of these General Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a competent court or authority, the remaining provisions shall continue to apply. The invalid provision shall be replaced with a valid provision that best reflects the original intention.
21. Applicable law and dispute resolution
These General Terms are governed by Swedish law.
